Acts 1: 3-8
The Church Unleashed Sermon Series

How can I know if I am saved? Why should I do good works? Does God’s plan of salvation need priests and temples? What is a church supposed to look like? These are all questions that we asked, along with many others, over the last two years as we explored the letters of Romans, Hebrews, and Ephesians. As we looked at God’s Word, we found blessed assurance in the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We saw just how wonderful Jesus is, and how indescribable our eternal inheritance is. We will continue to ask big questions, and we will continue to look at Scripture for the answers. What does it mean to evangelize? How do we make disciples of nations? What doctrines did the early church emphasize? These are important questions that the book of Acts addresses. The sermon series is a journey through the book of Acts, which records the first few decades of Christianity. We will examine how they endured persecution, what they prayed for, and how they shared the good news of Jesus with the people at the farthest reaches of the earth. Buckle up as we look at what it means as Christianity went from being a few folks in Israel to being a global reality.
